INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
A Happier, Healthier You
Therapy can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. Many find they enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware. Some people even go to ongoing therapy for self-growth.
In our therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. I’m confident you’ll find my personalized Individual Therapy beneficial and inspirational. FAMILY THERAPY
Understanding Each Other & Communicating Better
Family therapy is a form of treatment that is designed to address specific issues affecting the health and functioning of a family. It can be used to help a family through a difficult period of time, a major transition, or mental or behavioral health concerns in family members.
Family therapy views individuals’ problems in the context of the larger unit: the family. The assumption in this type of therapy is that problems cannot be successfully addressed or solved without understanding the dynamics of the group.

PLAY THERAPY
Helping your child thrive
In Play Therapy we strategically utilize play to help children express what is troubling them, as they do not always have the verbal language to express their thoughts and feelings. In play therapy, toys are like the child's words and play is the child's language.
Play therapy helps children:
-
Become more responsible for behaviors and develop more successful strategies.
-
Develop new and creative solutions to problems.
-
Develop respect and acceptance of self and others.
-
Learn to experience and express emotion.
-
Cultivate empathy and respect for thoughts and feelings of others.
-
Learn new social skills and relational skills with family.
-
Develop self-efficacy and thus a better assuredness about their abilities.
